Established in 2017, Sound Off Publishing provides inspiring publications to help people reach their full potential. Recently, Sound Off Publishing added coaching sessions to encourage and develop nonprofit leaders who are brand new to running a nonprofit.

About Rita McCoy
As owner of Sound Off Publishing and author of The Fun-Duh-Mental Leader, Rita McCoy strives to identify the concerns of nonprofit leaders. She has been involved with nonprofits in various capacities for over twenty years.
​
As former executive director of Sense of Security, a nonprofit organization that serves breast cancer patients who are struggling financially, Rita McCoy was responsible for fundraising, financials, operations, board development, program oversight, and staff management. She holds a master's degree in communications and a bachelor's in business administration.
Rita worked as the community relations director at KTVD-TV for nearly ten years, and in that capacity, she worked closely with community and nonprofit leaders. She served on numerous committees and boards and served as board president of the Colorado Nonprofit Association and is an Honorary Trustee of the Women’s Foundation of Colorado.

Rita McCoy is also an Emmy Award-winning television executive producer. She has held positions as executive director, adjunct professor, marketing and communication director, and television broadcasting and public relations professional.

Rita enjoys traveling with her husband, playing the piano, volunteering at local charities, attending networking socials, and spending time with her friends and family.
